Brian is a professionally and recreational writer. He writes about the world he continues to discover. Brian lives in the Netherlands wih his wife and son and writes full time.
The Last Star Surfer was inspired in large part to the story of Eddie Aikau. Eddie's story an incredible testament to the power a single person can have on the world if they choose to do so. It is also a story of love for the place Eddie loved so much and the people he watched over. My family adopted the creed, "Eddie Would Go" as a reminder to never stop caring and aim for the impossible.
I would love to see The Last Star Surfer have a positive impact on young adult learning. I have labored to produce a story that young people will enjoy but also opens doors to learning. Everything in the book is scientifically acccurate to the extent of science. The Fiction starts as the boundry science hasn't crossed yet.
In 2016 I was honored to speak to the #1 ranked company in technology, #1 for Woman in the workplace and #1 for Diversity and Inclusion. The Keynote speech was about understanding your consumer.
I am absolutely thrilled to have been selected to attend the Write to Ptich 2022 conference in 2022. I wrote The Last Star Surfer this fall and am excited pitch it!
